Post porsche car prices?

Anyone notice any weakness in used Porsche prices as the stock market crashes? I am in the the market for a used Porsche and was wandwering if the stock markets decline will cause high dollar car prices to decrease.

Yes and no! Dealers( big and small) will probably not advertise lower prices, but be willing to negotiate a bit more as their inventory builds.
I've noticed a small dealer where I've purchased some cars has been sitting with quality stock for some time now.
Bottom line...negotiate hard..should pay off.

Car prices, especially sports car prices, go up in the spring and down in the fall (often by as much as 10%,according to a car dealer neighbour). This may offset any stock market induced price decline. Paradoxically, a stock market decline may actually boost second hand prices. Used Porsches are substitutes for new Porsches, and declining paper wealth may shift new Porsche buyers into the used market, raising demand, especially for the newer models (like 993s and 996s). Lower interest rates will also keep prices up. Prices for older Porsches (964 and earlier) are unlikely to be affected by the stock market; seasonality and scarcity are more important.

There is a White/Black '83 SC Cab. in the paper here with 81K going for 25K. This seems like alot of money for the car, but I would not be surprised if someone paid that money for it.

Question is, isn't that MORE than the car cost originally?
