Any early seat experts out there?
I have standard buckets on my 70T with seatbacks that are twisted out at the upper corners (see illustration below). Adjusters are tight and backs are not leaning back, overall the seats are in good condition. My guess it's from someone using the corners to drop themselves into and lift out of the car.
My hope is to take the seatback apart, put the metal (I assume) frame on a workbench and straighten the frame back to square. Any comments about this approach would be welcome. Ulrich ![]() |

The price of used backs are $200 each at dcauto, hence the DIY appproach first.
