I think I need Electrical Help!!
 

Symptoms are

- no hi beam either flashing or full engaged

- alt light comes on and some guages waver or drop when using turn signal [left turn only]

- switch whines when used [i.e., makes a crying noise]

I was going to try to refurb it, but I think it just need an R & R

Interesting symptoms.

You might try rehabbing it. There are several threads on how to clean them up and bend the contacts.

If it were me, I'd just replace the switch. My $.02.

Dug into this a little this am and have some 'interesting' findings.

I don't know, maybe ingnition switch, headlight switch, botched wiring from an aftermarket alarm from who knows when ?

Heading to the local Porsche shop I guess. :(
