Info on where to get Blaupunkt Frankfurt repaired

In the quest to get my Blaupunkt Frankfurt repaired, I searched the archives and came up empty. So, writing this for future searches.

I found http://www.classicradio.com/, which is just on the other side of the SF bay from me; so shipped them my radio. They quoted me $400 to fix, then sat on my radio for 2 months. The day I called to ask to have my radio returned, they of course said that was the day they were going to start the repair. Still had the radio sent back.

Then I found http://www.radiomanrepair.com/ in San Diego. Shipped my radio to them, and it came back in exactly 7 days, w/ a repair cost of $170 plus shipping. Radio works great and I am very satisfied.

So, if you want your old radio repaired, it seems http://www.radiomanrepair.com/ is the way to go.
