LA/SOCG Christmas Dinner Planning

Would you guys be interested in reviving Motion's Christmas dinner idea from last year? The holidays are awefully close and we haven't had an event in quite awhile nor do we have Motion to plan this but I would like to see if you guys are interested and what suggestions and what days would work for you? And perhaps, we can talk Motion into coming to visit as well.

I have recently been thinking a lot that the old group has not gotten together in a while. I was not able to make Alex's birthday (hope that was a good gathering), but would welcome a dinner or even a Christmas happy hour.

p.s. I get turbo tie rods this week.. whoo hoo!

Alex, is teaching Salsa lessons part time now or so I've heard. That video from last year is part of his sales pitch.

Would love to join in guys, but am in the middle of training here in Seattle. Besides the less I see Alex swiveling his salsa butt around, the better.

Would be up for a couple of brewskis after the first of the year though.

Hopefully you're enjoying training Kelly. After three weeks I just about going nuts being inside the training center.

Hey Jess,

Training has been going good. Take my type ride tomorrow, then one day of variant training, then IOE starts next week. Hopefully I will be outta here by the 28th. Just in time to be flying the allnighter to Anchorage on New Years Eve.

PS Kelly I could have hooked you up with some blow darts for "question guy" or his buddy "this one time" guy during ground school, there's one in every class.

Hey guys, good to hear Chris is trying to get this together. I'll be in town on Dec 17 (flying out the 18th) and can probably meet you for a few minutes in the evening at some point. I have dinner plans with my son, but could stop by and say hi and have a beer afterwards. Hope it comes together!

Hey guys, The POC is having a driver's clinic and a STS event on Saturday and Sunday, the 26th and 27th of January. It's at the Streets of Willow (as usual), which is a much slower and safer track than its neighbor next door, Big Willow (Chris...) and yet is extremely fun, technical and challenging. The Porsche Owner's Club puts on a great event and has an instructor with you all day long (and for your first four events until they sign you off as competent and safe). It's a great way to really learn how to drive yuor car to and beyond its limit in a much safer, more controlled environment than on the city streets and country roads.(Sorry for the hijack. Back to your regular programming now...)
