Opportunity Taken - Winter Drive
Those of you that live in cold climates like me will appreciate this.
I had an opportunity this week that I couldn't pass up. On Thurs the weather was beautiful sunny 50F, but windy with a snow storm pending in the evening. Since it had been about 6 weeks since I stored my SC, this was a chance to drive my car, for a hour or so, before poor weather set in - it was "now or never"! I took it: ![]() ...had to skip work for an afternoon, but it was worth it! I live close to the mountains in Salt Lake, so it's a quick blast up I-80 eastbound, a canyon freeway. Followed by some city routes, it was a great drive, and the SC ran like a German watch. Just in time too as I put her away in a light rain. Snowed 8" that night... ![]() By the way, if you ever pass through SLC, there's a nice road off I-80 - Mountain Dell, if you like that sort of thing..! ![]() ...and Merry Christmas everyone!

Very nice.
Whenever the roads are bare and dry I try to take mine out. No beautiful scenery like yours though. |

Beautiful car and spectacular scenery. Man I gotta get out of New Jersey.
Just a question, about how much snow do you get? Tom. |

I drove mine on Thursday also, could have Fri AM also (Denver).
Can usually drive it a couple days a week... unless we get a major. Then may have to wait a week or so. |
