help identtifying gearbox

Hello,

please can someone help me identify a 5 speed gearbox, sorry no photos as yet.

codes are 901.301.301 OR and 901.301.101.OR also has 38/66 on it

is this then a 901 gearbox,

Yep it is either a 901 or a 902 basically the same beast on the bottom rib of the gear box there should be a 901/X or a 902/X number that will pin point a little more info the numbers you gave are the case part numbers and the manufature date.
