Question What transmission in a '67 912?

Does anyone know what transmission came in a '67 912? 901/?? I'm wondering if I can use one in my '69 911T.

Thanks,
David

Hi David, I know they came with a 901 because
I have one also. They were offered as a 4 and an optional 5 speed. The gear ratio I can't speak for , but I do know that flange at the gear box(CV's) on a 912 is a different diameter which can be unbolted and 911 flanges bolted back on.I'm doing the mirror image of yours , a 911 T in a 912. Hope this helps.

Its a 901 transmission. Its exactly the same as the 911's exept that it has a 24:28 top gear ratio instead of the 911's 23:29. As far as placing it into a 69 911, I think that it would be totally interchangable as they are interchageable with the 69 912.
