Question Tall Boost venturis

I have a question about some carb parts. I noticed that PMO sells tall boost secondary venturis for my webers. I searched some old post and nothing was conclusive.

Has anyone tried them? How did they work? ARe there any differences between those and "regular" venturis besides the height?

If not, It seems you could just make a sleeve to increase the height of the current ones. Maybe some experiments are in order. Thanks for entertaining my thoughts.

906 racecars used these to increase fuel flow from the primary venturi at higher RPM. good for hotrods with big cams.
