Bosch H4 Halogen Headlight Upgrade
Hello all.
I am looking at doing a Bosch H4 Halogen Headlight Upgrade to my 1970 911T and I am mystified at the price variations I see out there on the net. I see prices of $149 to $250 (from our sponsors here), all for what are supposedly a Bosch H4 Halogen Headlight. Any idea why there is such a range? Am I being naive, or if it says Bosch as the mfg, shouldn't it be the same part/same quality?

H4's
The current stock of H4's from our host and others do not have any BOSCH identification on them. My understanding is that Bosch outsourced the mfg of these lights several years ago. I was very lucky to find a set of NOS H4's that were made by Bosch, but my research tells me NOS H4's are hard to find.
And for what it's worth the current stock of H4's seem just fine to me. I just got lucky (i think). Hope this helps. Tom
