930 Wheel & Tire Pictures (Different)

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased this 87 Turbo below and would like to search for some wheels and tires. Interested in pic's of Turbo's from 76-89.

I am looking for a few specific things; (other threads just show pictures. I need more)

1) Picture of Wheels on car (from at least a few feet away to get a better idea)
2) Size and dimensions of rims
3) What offsets or spacers were used to create that look, fit, etc.

I want to be able to look and understand how wider rims are used "appropriately" to create a great look without the wheels being sunk into the wheel well or the tires rubbing in the back on the fender or front while turning.

I thank you for all of your responses in advance and Happy Holidays.

Bryan

Fikse FM /5 Black 18

PO put them on, I love them. Another Pelican is running the same wheels.

I would like a set of Fuchs like yours for street tires.

Make sure you note the year of the cars when you compare offsets, the early 930 had a different front hub than the later 930, the difference is 21mm....

Cheers

Who said big wheels (18", 19") are not for older 911? This is way "too beautiful", regarding fitment/configuration I have seen.
How is the ride? Do you have any more pics?
I just bought some 17" and you made me "want to" change my mind

cleaning wheels

Blaine, On the BBS wheels, how hard are those to clean? What do you use? I love the look of those wheels but have always wondered how much of a pain it is to keep them clean.

Very nice pics so far. Keep em coming.

Jeff, On the offset response for the different years. That is great info. Much appreciated.

Wayne,

Is that a joke or is it because it looks exactly like my car? Either way, thanks for the listing. Maybe I should have started with that one first.

Less expensive anyways.

Anymore Pic's?????

No joke. Just thought you might like a kit that looks like your car. I know most car guys have one.

The ride is firm for sure. They really stick to the track. I am looking for a set of street tires & wheels 16/17'' the car handles well with these. The washer tank is out. No wheel rub at all. They look pretty good also.
Thanks!

Question

Racerbvd or Byran in FL.

What are the dimensions of those wheels and tires? What are the offsets? Any issues with rubbing, etc.

Cost & who sells them?

Those are some of the best that I have seen. Nice work.

Speedlines, 9&11X18, ordered for that car. No issues but cost close to $5K If you were close we could test fit them on yor car. I have a few other late offset sets we could test fit too (with spacers)

Racerbvd,

I wish we were closer, I would take you up on that offer for sure. I am in CA. Do you know the specs on them, are you using spacers, what size, is there an offset on the rims?

Are you a normal turbo coupe, or those wider flares than stock or after market? Which tail is that as well?

How long have you owned them, what company did you buy them from?

Thanks for your help,

Bryan

Anyone out there?

I would love to see some more wheels.

In addition, I would still like sizes and then offsets or spacers used.

Thanks,

Bryan
