Hey guys,
If you've got a copy of the February 2001 GQ, check out page 86, center column. Homage is paid to the classic brown, period 911 hue. Just thought you poor, embattled originalists deserved to know. I had a champagne colored 84 Carrera, and my brother told me it was the 911 you buy for your wife. "*****" is the proper name he gave the color. But, he couldn't drive a 911 anyway. Ha! Later. Dave 84 928 "S"/5spd. 76 912 "E" |

I got a 79 SC that I love. It was S**T BROWN, but hopefully has now been transformed to a BLACK beauty. My painter is so slow, he's had it for almost 3 years! That S**T Brown looked good at night because it was dark enough to look BLACK!

....and get your cars painted.
Dave, hope you know I'm joking. The autocross's are starting up in a few weeks at the park. Are you going to be there? I actually may run a few to see how the new suspension is before Mid-Ohio. Hope to see you there. I should'nt have any problem finding your car![This message has been edited by 89911 (edited 03-21-2001).] |

89, you've actually seen my old Carrera at the park. I sold it last year. I still have the 912E. You actually took me for a ride in your 911 around the pool lot that day. It was, I'd guesstimate, September or October of 1999. See you later, Dave
