Friends of Warren Avatar

Wayne has a good point below. After seeing all the Warren avatars on one thread, the posts look a little monotonous. Sorry guys - not my best idea. Going back to old avatar and I urge you to do the same.

Umm, not a good idea on the avatar. It makes it much more difficult to read posts and see who is posting what if everyone has the same avatar. I understand the point, but it doesn't really add anything but confusion to the mix...

People who have adopted Warren's avatar, please switch back (Mark too). His posts are unique and are characterized by his unique avatar - I'd like to keep it that way. Adopting it is not the way to go.

I saw the avatar on a thread..a recent thread, and instantly thought, "Warrens posting???" but then it wasn't him. (sad banana)

I like the "Friend of Warren" under but I'm uneasy about the avatar.

Perhaps a better idea for a "Warren" avatar would be to develop a more descriptive and easily recognizable one for all of us to utilize on OTHER bbs websites we may frequent. Perhaps something that just says, "Warren Hall Is My Friend!"

This would get exposure out there and perhaps cause others to inquire about it.

This one is 200 x 200 pixels, and can be resized easy enough to fit the limitations of every bbs. (50 x 50 is the limit here on Pelican...see MY avatar.)

Wayne is right actually, I did notice that it would maybe cause confusion. Mine is changed.

I will keep my avatar title "Friend's of Warren".

I think a message in the signature is more than enough - the avatars are unique and an easy, visual way of identifying people as they post, without having to look at their name. I often find that when two people on the board use the same avatar, well, that *can* be confusing.

Thanks guys, there are plenty of ways to push the cause forward...
