Question Throttle linkage adjustment

What is the correct way to adjust the throttle linkage, I have adjusted it as I saw fit but I still have about 1/4" travel before the throttle butterfly stop is made. Thanks Ian

You could have some sloppy play in the ball socket on the rod from the bell crank on the transmission up to the throttle body.Tough to get it firm with that condition. Other than that, take up the play on the adjusting threads on this rod.

Cool

If you pop the linkage rod off of the throttle butterfly (ball and socket) and loosen the locknuts on the linkage rod you can thread it either direction to get the relationship you want. If there is not enough adjustment here, then you can go to similar adjustments at any of the other linkage rods downstream of here.

Good Luck.
Nick.
