After some good advice from this BBS, I contacted Leland West to inquire on insurance for a '84 911 with a Salvage Title Iv'e been considering. The car was stolen and recovered back in 1986 and has been insured since. I wanted the limited use insurance since it will not be my daily driver. The company told me they will not insure it. Anybody have any suggestions? other providers?

Look in the Yellow Pages under "Insurance"

Lew, I have been with State Farm for about 15 yrs. If you list your house and cars with them they will give you a pretty competitive rate. Good service too.

I've been with State Farm as well, since 1995, and they've given me nothing but great service and good rates that keep getting better. Then again, I keep getting older...

Thanks for the advice and help. This board and members are really great. I contacted a couple of companies in Hemmings they had no problem with this. Jim T.: Sure I could look in Yellow Pages but I want "Limited Use" Insurance not regular insurance. Sorta like calling Autozone for a set of Carrera Tensioner upgrades.
