Cool Took my 911 out of winter storage!

I took my car out of storage two days ago and today we were struck by a snow storm, its back in... I couldn't resist, it was a relatively warm sunny day, what a feeling. Actually, I was a little eager because this was the first time I got to actually drive the car after my turbo installation. I did this over November and December at my shop and then sent it to the storage garage via flatbed, as it was too snowy to drive. I didn't get a chance to make all the proper adjustments for max power yet, I am waiting for my dyno appointment for thatr, but what I did do is set it up for safety (extra rich, low boost). In this configuration I freaked out at the power increase! with only 5 psi the acceleration is amazing! In first gear,(due to the cold pavement) at around 3000rpm, when the turbo is fully spooled up, I get wheelspin, with my 17" 255's! The real thrill is in 3rd and 4rth. Their pulling power seems identical. I found my self shifting alot sooner than expected, it just seems to reach redline very quickly. Driving in a 70km/h zone, I floored it for a short burst and found myself going 200 already! I am sure it will reach the redline in 5th, and this is at low boost, 5psi as compared to 7, where i will set it to until I intercool it. I cant wait for all this snow to melt!!!
If anyone has any questions about my setup, just ask.

Awesome! How much did you pay for the turbo? If i but the 84' 911 I am thinking of doing this... How much do you think it would cost to but the turbo and have it installed?

Hey Raff, I built the system myself and the parts cost me a little over $2000, and a lot of work making the exhaust piping, oil lines, intake piping, etc. If I was to build it for a client, i would charge around $4500, for it to be worth it! I am fortunate to have all the tools and materials available to me. You could buy a setup like Juan's, it is sold by protomotive, it goes for around 5 grand with no intercooler.
