I didn't know Warren but after reading this tribute some thoughts come to mind.
In life, few open their hearts to all. In death, those who moved us are missed. In memory, those who gave so much will soar. Warren remembered, now flies on angels wings.

I did not know Warren and have only just started looking up threads to work on my early 911, I am amazed just how many times I read a great piece of advice and then check the author to find it is Warren. Thanks for the help mate - the time and effort you spent to share your knowledge will help 911 owners for as long as your advice is on the net.

In the event anyone is interested, a few of us have established a commerative decal (see the image at the top of the BBS page). Funds from the proceeds are to be sent to another CF patient in Warrens name. Decals come in 'inside' and 'outside' forms and can be obtained through me. Please PM me for details. paypal is accepted. Decals are $15 each. you can search my name or v8ranch to see the original decal thread.
Thank you.

I never had the opportunity to meet Warren. Except for a few tech responses, where he nailed a few of my never ending air cooled questions, I didn't realize the depth of his popularity or the respect his words held. Reading the many pages of tribute herein I am truly grateful to have had any contact or knowledge of this incredible man. How many of us will be remembered with the genuine feelings being poured over his memory?
Warren, God bless you, I know you'll enjoy working on God's 911...

Hi
I not to have the luck of to have known Warren Hall, but I to be certainly I having liked to share the passion by races with. It is always a pain that has gone away, but certainly during the years that its passion by Porsche and races was practicing, he was very happy. It rests peacefully. ![]() Josep |

Early S Man - RIP
Wow--this is a shock;
I corresponded with Warren for many years with my 73T and all the basics of MFI, etc. We exchanged info regarding manuals and parts when I had the car; he was always there in the evenings on ICQ to chat about this problem or that. I sold the car to move to new employment, and kept in touch once in a while with Warren about looking for another 72-73 car. I started looking at newer models and ran across this thread in google--haven't been to Pelican in a while--wow, how its grown! Warren, thanks for all of your help, however small it seemed. You helped me know the early 911's better than I though I ever would, and for that I am thankful. Its our communications that solidified my love for the marque. I'm still looking for another car, likely newer 911/993/996, but you and your advice will always be with me and others. Thanks so much, Warren-- Best Regards John W twin cities, MN |

I think it's time to close this thread. The memory of and comments about Warren are only being sullied by the scam/spam artists posting to this thread.

Ed,
Agree totally. The crap above needs to be deleted, user banned FOREVER and the thread closed or closely monitored. Funny how those who need and deserve banning do not get it... Joe A

I've deleted a handful of these auto-generated posts here. I don't know how the thread about Warren got tagged for this kind of abuse -- but I agree; I'm going to close this thread so the 'bots (or whatever they are) can't post in it.
Hopefully, we can re-open it in the future and not have his kind of problem. Warren's memory deserves better.
