I'm thinking that God is restoring a 72S and wanted the very best at his side. He chose well.
We'll miss you sorely Warren. You helped me in countless ways as I undertook many of my projects over the years. Look forward to shaking hands on the other side... Godspeed, Mike Feinstein

Rest in Peace, Early S Man
Sad news here today. He will be missed by all of us in many ways. I hope that some part of this community can be named in his memory.

Wayne, thanks for helping us all cope with this, Mark & Kurt did an outstanding job keeping us all aware of his condition and just like you...keeping a silver lining present on the dark clouds.

Amazing that he lived so long. There was a time when the the oldest person in the US w/ CF was in her early 30's, and that was considered almost miraculous.
At Children's Hospital here the fund was called sixty-five roses; the little kids that had it couldn't say cystic fibrosis. When I was little, the family next door had 2 boys about my age who both had CF. Neither made it into their 20's. Amazing. I look back at his posts; such valuable information and he was so ill. |

I never met the man but he helped me with many problems over the years - It is funny how you can consider people you have never seen to be friends, to be your peers and when one of them has problems we band together to help them or grieve their loss.
Rest in Peace my friend

I have been on this board for years now, waiting for the pages to load during the "dial-up" days. This is my second screen name as well. I bought my 72 in 1991 and when I found this board and posted my first threads, sure enough it was Warren who helped me out the most.
I can't tell everyone how much he helped me with my "engine drops"; suspension woes; interior/electrical miss-haps, MFI and everything else that goes along with being a new owner of an old Porsche. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, and it's nice to know that Warren will be forever remembered on Pelican. Peace.

Bless you Warren, you are leaving us a legacy of information that will survive long into the future, and some happy Pelican memories too into the bargain.
My sis-in-law is about to come join you I think after a long fight of her own, so look out for her. RIP good buddy ![]()

Very very sad. His future contributions will surely be missed here. Thankfully the archives of this BBS will contain information that can outlive all of us. Godspeed Warren.
