re-upholster in Portland/Vancouver area
Hi all,
The seats in my 85 need re-upholstered. Does anybody have a favorite upholsterer in the Portland/Vancouver area they recommend?

While I have not used them, Guy's Interior Restorations 431 NW 9th Ave, Portland - (503) 224-8657 was good enough to work on a 50's Cadillac for Jay Leno. I think they may have moved from the NW 9th location recently.

I have not usd Guy either but I know several others that recommend him. Also, he must be interested in us as he does advertise in the local PCA Magazine (Anzeiger). Guy can be reached at 503-224-8657. His location is 2016 NE Alberta

I talked to them about doing "Iris" and they wanted GOLD, in large amounts IIRC ! Were not talking rocket stuff here. Find a good shop and work with them.

A good friend had the interior of his 356 done there. I visited the shop several times during the work, there were always several P cars there in various states of completion, plus several nice high end vintage cars. That says volumes. Price was reasonable for amazingly beautiful work, including a complete cab top. Absolutely the only place to consider in Portland, period.

Guy's must not need more business as he never returned my phone call. Sure, it was for one of my non-Porsche cars, but in my mind, his business practice was sub-par.
