Tough Week For P Car

Had a lot of things fall off the 80 Targa this week. Below is a list of things falling off and action taken.

1. Driver Side door pocket (what else is new). Repaired by epoxying support steel washers onto the pocket screw holes, reinstalled with longer screws;

2. Passenger side rubber threshold strip. Cleaned with auto body pre-paint cleaning fluid. Reinstalled with liquid nails construction adhesive;

3. Engine compartment latch brass washer washer component of catch. Retained spring with vise grips--epoxied back together. Don't think it will hold up very long--is the part hard to find, or has anyone effected more workmankike repair?
