What are these wires please?

76 911. Right rear of engine.. I found 2 wires which look like they used to be in a connector. Any ideas? I sure wish this first one was supposed to be of a hose clamp! The autofocus was not reading my mind.

Okay.. I figured out where they are supposed to go.. I found the connector they were torn out of.. its a connector behind the throttle housing (the housing the CIS plate is in).. what is that for? Some sort of heater? I dont have the manual yet.. I ordered it from Oelican a few days ago.

Hmmm..I don't have the factory wiring schmatics in front of me at the moment but they could power the cold start valve, which lives back there or the fuel pump cut-off switch which also lives in the same neighborhood. I betting the switch.

I think that is connected, I can feel it.. this goes right on the plate housing.. right on it, not protruding like its connected to something else.. I should have my manual in a couple of days.
