Here as promised a pic of my 3rd Foot by wings engineering (as advertised in Excellence).
Now I need something for the rest of the pedals any suggestions? (this unit clamps onto existing pedal install no drilling in 5 mins. Removes to original in 5 mins. heres a shot of my freshly painted fan/shroud (awlgrip 2 part poly) Although it was cosmetic I was glad to do it as the fan nut was overtightened and I had a job getting it off. Good chance to assure my spare belts were correct and a practice run at belt replacement! Ben |

So tell us, 86....does the 3'rd Foot make heel & toe'ing a snap?
And the fan looks very clean! Good job. ------------------ Doug '81 SC Coupe (aka: "Blue Bomber") Canada West Region PCA members.home.net/zielke/911SC.htm |

Here's my cluster. (Click the little picture for a bigger version.)
![]() I don't have any problem rolling my foot to the right to heel and toe, but it would be nice if the AJ-USA gas pedal extended another quarter inch or so the the left. The Wings one gives you more gas pedal down below the brake. My only worry with that would be a panic stop (with a guest driver, for example) causing simultaneous braking and acceleration. But that may just be the angle of the photo. ------------------ Jack Olsen 1973 911 T (3.6) sunroof coupe jackolsen@mediaone.net [This message has been edited by JackOlsen (edited 03-25-2001).] |

I have the Wings Third Foot in my car too. I didn't like the mount though. It wobbled and felt loose under foot. I was afraid it could come off. I disassembled it and bolted it to my stock pedal with a piece of 1 inch pine between the pedal and the Wings plate. This way, it's solid and can't come off. I like it much more now, but it's no longer adjustable - something I can do without.
