Door Plugs
Could or would any of you out there suggest a source or replacement substitute for the rubber door plugs as shown in the photo below. They have deteriorated over the years (1970 911T) & need replacing. I have to remove the window frames & will end up rendering the existing plugs unsalvageable. As you can see from the photo, they are past their prime.
![]() I also require some of the plastic plugs shown in this next photo. Please excuse the mess as I am in the process of cleaning the whole car up & 'rehabbing' all areas requiring some attention - especially the rusted parts. ![]() Any help or info you could pass my way will be greatly appreciated. Cheers JB

Could also try a company in your area that specialises in undercoating.
After they drill and spray...they put in plastic or rubber plugs to pretty things up. Bob

top photo, upper black circle, is I believe not a plug but a dome light switch cover. Available from our host:

Good to know Pelican has some of them. The original door plugs were rubber and the new ones are plastic so you have to put them in hot water so they are pliable enough.

The part has been superseded, and the ones available from our host are for +74, and as stated hard plastic.
http://www.*************/shop/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=209&cat=Plastic+Plug+Chart+by+Size These are correct in my parts book for 64-73.

I tried regular rubber sealing plugs for these door plugs but they did not fit well as the bolt underneath stops them seating. The proper repo part avoids this, they can be found.
