Happy Birthday 911S! - Show Us Yours!

Although the "original" 911 made its public debut in 1963, the 911S was introduced in 1967, marking its 50th birthday this year. This glorious car, with its 160hp engine; increased from 128hp in the original model, instantly became iconic - much like the Fuchs wheels that it was debuted with. To this day, the 67' 911S is a prized collectible, with excellent condition examples going well over the $100k mark.

Share and celebrate your 'S' with us, by posting photos of your example and giving us a brief rundown of how it came to be in your collection.

The 911S was introduced in August 1966 as a 1967 year model. So, 30th birthday to some of us "S" owners was last year.

Bought mine day after selling m 68S. That was in Sept 1979.

You're absolutely correct Paul, I was just going by the 'model year' - gorgeous example and one that I'm sure will stay with you forever.

I’m surprised this thread didn’t catch on...but could be many 67S owners aren’t plugged into this forum. Would love to connect with a 1967 911S soft top Targa owner.

That's a beautiful car - do you own one? If so, post a couple photos.
