Robert...the process is painless...but the local chapters vary a lot in their involvement in xcross, DE., rallies, tech sessions, etc.
Maybe you could talk to someone in your area first to see what they're like. Pano magazine is pretty good, too. ------------------ Clint 73T mfi coupe |

Robert,
I'm really suprised that you aren't a Pca member Shreveport has a PCA Club, you can go to www.platz.com or www.pca.org.The Pca will give you the Panorama Magazine which is a really good Porsche mag, If you are not getting Excellence I recommend that one too.. With the Pca membership you can go to all Porsche Club events, the Dallas region has alot of activities,by the way, I'm from Monore, I drove thru Shreveport last week on my way home, I live in Austin now,the roads on I-20 thru there are terrible ! where is all the gambling money going ? I regress... check out our web site for links to the Dallas PCA, www.hcrpca.org I've gotten tons of help and really enjoyed the PCA activities,it's good to be around people with a common interest.. PORSCHES! The cost is $45.00 a year I think ? the Panorama magazine is worth that in itself. |

Yeah, Chuck I agree the roads are tough with all the supposed windfall gambling money. Just can't seem to find any of it. My 12 yr old son did a social studies project on it a couple weeks ago. The project was supposed to show the trail of money from the Casino to the Schools. More like a trickle. We thought we would have to get an attorney to get any information from the Casinos or the Schools! Both partys were extremely paranoid about giving out any info on the subject. Well, this is Louisiana!! For 20 yrs our infamous Governor was a loser in Vegas.. the very year the gambling was approved article came out in the paper...all of a sudden he was a $300,000 winner in Vegas. Now they are trying to put him in prison for illegal activities with river boat licensing approval. Woops! He'll never do any time, but the old bank account can't hold up for long.
