New member and pics of my '89 911/993

Great forum! Lots of interesting reading

Anyway i though I would introduce myself!

I'm Stew all the way from England

This is my first 911 its an 1989 3.2 911. Or though it now looks like a wide bodied 993!

It may not appeal to the purists.

Maybe in a few years time I will be able to afford the real thing!

Thanks
Stew

Welcome to the forum and the Porsche world. That's a beauty. How does it run?

I have only driven it the once! It needs the tracking setting as it bump steers a bit more than I feel it should.

Mechanically though it feels very strong. No smoke and it pulls well without any nasty noises. There are no receipts for a gearbox rebuild but it has such a smooth gear change! I was really impressed.

Thats a very nice car. If I bought an 89 I would want the same look. I love the look of that tail. I don't like the pop up tails.
