wheel bearings
Need to replace rear wheel bearing on 79sc not much help in the haynes manual. I have the bearing tool just need some advice.

Welcome to the board! The most helpful thing I have found when I first have a problem is to use the "Search" button. Almost every question I have ever had has been discussed on this board at one time or another. But to answer you specific problem, this previous posting will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about rear wheel bearings:

 going to try changing the wheel bearing on thursday, let you know how it comes out.
