82 SC Rear Deck Latch
 
Anyone have any quick tips on adjusting the latch on the rear deck of an 82 SC?

The deck appears to sit flush but does not latch.

The ajustment is the spring latch on the lid. If you look at the tip it is slotted for a screwdriver. Loosten it until you get it to latch

You also might try some pb on the lower mechanism maby its just sticking open

This happened to me recently...turned out to be just dirt and gunk keeping the mechanism (lower) opened. Applied a generous amount of WD40, used a metal pick to loosen the dirt, and wiped. It's working perfecly now.
