Question Aftermarket or custom Oil Tanks??

Hi All,

I'm laying the groundwork for a 2.7 conversion on my '75 914. I really don't care much about keeping it original, as the bodywork is custom. Does anybody make an aftermarket Oil tank that can be mounted somewhere other than the stock location? I figure the racing set already has this one figured out. It seems like a spun aluminum tank with the proper baffling inside would work nicely. It seems like there would be several locations where you could mount it. Thoughts? Thanks!

You can buy a very nice Petersen oil tank. Many use their for remote mounted oil tank solutions. They are very high quality parts. I suspect they may cost less than the factory 914-6 tank.

Thanks... That's the kind of info I'm after... I'll try to google them. I'm looking for a lower cost solution than a factory 914/6 tank.
