Tranny Issue...
 

I was just about tu put away my 911, when disaster....

I can not gear anything on my tranny, it is like stuck on 2nd....

I can move the shifter handle, but can not go to first, or second, a noize is coming from under the car..

But no cracks or hard noizes under there...more like the shifter handle is loose, something is out of place there, because the car can move only forward..i guess stuck on 2nd gear...

Need serious help....any ideas?....

I had a 75 911S with a 915 that did that and it turned out to be a 1st and 2nd synchro that failed. It was not inexpensive to fix.

Thread gone on nut, Shift coupler
 

I just fixed the problem..

Thread is gone on the nut, above shift coupler..

Just replaced screw and nut...

Im back!!!!
