Looks nice.
Did you do the machining of the groove yourself? If not, who did it? Are you planning to revalve the shocks to match your new spring rate? |

Looks good! Make sure your shocks are within their range of motion at your ride height. They can bottom out if the car is very low. Or they can top out, if the car is very high.

Wow that does look good you will have to keep us posted with longevity results. That is some big time $avings too. I have just installed my TB rear 28mm and frt 22mm I wonder if something similar could be done to the front suspension as well! Maybe our host would be interested in carrying these parts? Send some pics when the car is on ground and give us performance details. did you completely go away from using TBars in the rear? Sry for all the questions

Very interesting. I noticed those somewhere on the net a while back and had some interest for my own project. Love to hear how they work for you once installed.

HELPERS for the turbo squat, that's all. I have 250 lb springs plus the bars.
But I'm after impressions other than mine. |

Clint does custom machine work, restoration and other work, too. He's a great guy. He restored and rebuilt my 930 calipers. Beautiful job.
He also machined the rears for 911 trailing arm installation. His Dad has an air cooled Porsche shop in Morro Bay for the last 30+ years. So he knows these cars, too. They do a lot of 356 restorations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Doug

You have an interesting setup. What are your impressions so far? And what are the sizes of your torsion bars?

stock carrera bars, stock sways, 17X 8, 9. bilstein HD/sprt and these 250lb helpers. The car is flat as a pancake at 350 rwhp.
but I wonder hoe it would feel without any t bars and 450 lb springs Last edited by jbrinkley; 01-17-2008 at 02:02 PM.. |

same as in the picture, rebel racing with eibach springs.
install is less time than it takes to jack your car up and put it on stands. lol but really, If you're ditching your T bars for something like Clint makes than I would guess 3 hrs. Lot of people say you can use these alone on a street car without any re enforcement . I'm starting to believe them. I had a post about these when I put them in a while back. |
