How to repaint Targa bar on 911 SC?
Hi Everyone,
the Targa bar on my 911 SC does not really look good anymore. Looks like the paint wore off on some parts and somebody partly repainted it. I guess i am going to have to strip off all the paint and repaint. Anybody have any tips and also what paint is the closest to original? Which primer works good etc. I know there is an official porsche repainting manual, but the paint they mention is not available anymore. Thanks Frank

Just use Rust-O-Leum Satin Black. (#9999?)
It's perfect color and sheen, it's less expensive and you can get it at Home Depot. Wet Sand w/ 1000, mask thoroughly and repaint. Couple thin coats. |

No offense Frank but there are A LOT of threads on this, just do a search and you will have some pretty good stories.
