USA SC to Euro

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of making my SC Euro-looking, ie, with one amber turn signal on the bumper instead of two. I have no idea if that would involve a lot of work, and I haven't yet seen a rubber guard that goes in place of the 2nd signal as in Euro SCs.

I'm also considering adding amber turn signal lights to the sides of the car, but I might not go that far. I imagine that would be more work than I want to do, plus if one day I decide I didn't like them, filling the holes would probably be noticable. Not to mention trying to figure out how to connect them to the lights switch, etc. (I'm a noob when it comes to auto work, but I'm keen to learn!)

Here's an example to show you what I'm looking for...

Replacing the front side marker lights with the rubber plugs is easy. It involves removing all of two nuts on each side and unplugging the wires. Installing the new parts is also easy; the same two nuts.

The part numbers for the rubber plugs are:

91150530700
91150530800

I'd skip the side marker lights, if it was me. I hate drilling holes in perfectly good parts.

Your '78 wouldn't have had the fender lights even if it was constructed as a RoW car. They started installing them in 1980.

Unfortunately not yet. It is something I want to do in the not-too-distant future, but right now my money and time is tied up in my Jeep and college...lol

I'll let you know if I do anything further with it tho!
