911 SC (1982) clutch judder
Hi folks - thanks in advance for the help.
I'm looking at a 1982 Targa that has a judder in first gear when cold. The other gears are fine, and there isn't any slipping or burning once engaged. Is there a typical cause of this short of a full clutch replacement? Thanks! |

Could be oil on the clutch disc.

Could be incorrect compression on the Bowdon tube, especially suspicious if the clutch cable has been replaced recently.

Mine had clutch judder, most noticable when cold. In my case it was the clutch fork.
