Pirelli P zero nerosystem tires
Pirelli P zero nero system tires I bought have a different tread on the rear vs. the front tires.
I was surprised when I saw the tread pattern was different on the front to the rear. Was told "front tread pattern is as is for water channeling and rear is as it is for better traction. All are are 140 tread wear A temp A traction. That is the way P zero nerosystem is". Can you corroborate? Thanks. Regards,

that makes sence becasue the front tires cut a channel int he water for the rear tires so they dont need it as much. Sounds like a good idea to me

I guess I could call them. What I have are directionals in front and asymetricos in the rear.

After 7 years of Pirelli use these, can say these have good grip at low speeds wet and dry. Hope to go a long way before I experience high speed loss of traction. And I think I will keep the car off the track.
Ah heck now you make me want to go check out that new stretch with flat out right. Kidding. Do want to get a set of track tires next. Tire rack says the directionals in the front are good and system is directionals in front and asymetricos in back, or asymetricos all around.

Did you notice if the tire noise level seems low? I think they are supposed to have low noise...
there is a related thread on noise live now
