Retail, the car is worth $59,225 in excellent shape. If you have Excellence February 2001 its in there. As for the wide body I can also look into it. I have a variety of books to research it if you like. Sorry I cant tell you off hand..TargaEuro

1995 the wide body was introduced. In 96 the only wide body was the Carrera S Targa or Carrera 4 S but no convertible wide body. Hope this helps.

There was never a factory widebody cabriolet 993 in all the years from '95 through '98. The widebody was only used on the twin turbo, C2S and C4S; all coupes.

My mistake, your right there was no Targa wide body. I misread the article I got it from. There is only the Carrera S and 4S widebody..

A family friend of just got $62,000 for his 95 993 coupe with 37K from a Porsche dealer. The dealer turned around and sold it for $69,000. He swapped the dealer for 2 cars, a brand new Audi TT and Audi Allroad!

Flamenco red is more of a bright red, not quite lipstick red. Porsche offered another interior color, the name of which escapes me ... but it was more of a clay or cinnamon color. I think it was called chestnut. I've seen a couple of 993 cabs that had that color interior with a matching top. I also believe I've seen a 96 Targa that was arctic white; my GP white 95 coupe (with flamenco) was parked next to it at the shop and it made my car look almost cream colored.

Regarding the car itself, I'd put it mid 50s for a mint car, given the mileage. $53-55k sounds right to me.
