Pic request-should i remove rubber sill trims?
The car is in for some paintwork and I can't decide whether I should remove the rubber sill trim. What do y'all think? Pics welcome.

On such a fine car that rubber trim is cheezy. I hate it. Mine is only there 'cos I've been busy working on more important things.
I was thinking of pulling it off and repainting or making an aluminum plate. Not the silly overpriced pimp trim, just a simple aluminum plate. BTW your car looks v. groovy. |
To me, if the rubber trim piece is removed, it makes the panels look like crap with the empty groove, when the rubber piece is gone.

I removed the rocker totally, and receive many compliments. I love it, but I nixed all the rubber. Bumpers too, so I don't know what it would look like with impact bumpers and rocker delete. Maybe delete rockers, and delete bumper rubber, and fill the holes in the bumper(rocker area too). Or leave it, it looks good now too!

Ok I was bored, and this is amateur, but you might get the gist. The pic started kinda dark so its hard to see.

:) I like it either way.

Certainly looks a lot more racy without the trim. Isn't it a lot of work to fill in the groove that holds the trim?
