My brake lights are not working. Good fuse, new switch. Not sure what to look at next. Any one else have this problem at one time or another?

Tom,
Fairly common ... try removing the whole lamp assemblies, and cleaning the sockets with Windex, brush, followed by isopropyl alcohol, compressed air. The wires will be stiff due to age and heat back there, so be careful! Check the bulkhead connectors, too, but be very careful not to damage the silver plated connectors ... alcohol and gentle brushing with pipe cleaners or similar brush, only! ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |

...also make sure when you're testing the brake lights, the key is in the ignition and is turned one position to the right. It's obvious, of course -- but someone reminding me of that obvious fact would have saved me a half hour of 'troubleshooting' my last visit to Willow Springs.
