my spare rim has the flollowing #s:
inside petal 901 361 01206 directly underneath 26710 6j x 15 is this a common rim? the rim needs to be straightened (approx $75). what can one expect to pay for a spare used fusch? also, were the spare rims/tires smaller than the ones on the car? thanks. bob '68 911L |

Bob,
Not exactly plentiful, as it was the early tube-type wheel that a lot of people call the 'deep-dish' wheel, that should have been called the 'sculptured-spoke Fuchs' ... only produced from '68-'70 or so. It was replaced by the tubeless wheel 911.361.020.00, which has less 'prominent' spokes, identical offset on both wheels. Cars (early ones, anyway, before '74) equipped with Fuchs came with five identical wheels and tires! ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |

Hello
Standard Porsche steel rim. Check the valveholesize. There are some around with bigger hole for the spare saver tire. 68 L had 5,5 x 15. Spare tire where identical in size and brand ( full replacement ) look close you will find a date stamp on all rims. Mostly week/year sometimes month/year Manufactorer where Südrad and Kronprinz 26710 is the KBA# for TÜV approval Check new prize. Is around 40$ OEM and 50$ Porsche for Standard use ( Spare saver are only Porsche ) Grüsse |
