Hi to all, if like your impressions about those engines. Which one would be best suited, less hassle or any comments. I know what a conversion needs as parts are concerned. Just which one of these engine is the best deal/bet? Please note that these are the engines i am looking for, no CIS, no bigger than 2.4.

It has fresh plugs, wires, etc. It runs great. Heat exchangers are rust free. I also have the ignition box and everything need to put it in your 914. They are still bolted together. You can bolt this engine in your car and drive away. I am putting a 3.3L turbo engine in my car and need to sell it to pay for a new tranny. Please let me know if you are interested. than 1000US$ ou 1500US$ with tranny #2 / 155HP MFI / 2200US$ / >I have a 2.2 E motor complete, air cleaner to muffler. Excellent condition. out runs great. just took out of a one owner 100,000 mile car. no smoke or leaks. The engine is a 1970 with mechanical fuel injection. All if the injection pieces are included. 10,000 miles ago the engine had a valve job and new tensioners (not carrerra). The oil was changes every 3,000 miles. I want $2200 USD.? #3 / WITH E CAMS BETW. 125 ET 155HP / 1200US$ >I have a 1971 2.2T > 110 psi compression accross all cylinders > E cams > zenith carbs, need rebuild > Flywheel? Yes > Alternator? Yes > Fuel pump? you just need a generic one from the auto store $30 > Location of te engine. denver > Mileage approx? mileage unknown $1200US$ #4 / 135HP / 1000US$ >I have a 2 ltr six that came with my 914. It is an ealry six with aluminun case, solex cams , forged rocker arms and counterweighted crank. It is rated at 135 hp with 911 exhaust,145 hp with 914 headders. Change to weber 40mm carbs with 30 mm venturi's it would be much more. Solex cams come on about 500 rpm lower than S cams which were too peaky for street or standard ratio transmissions. I hate to take this engine apart just for parts as it is very obvious that it is a very low miles rebuilt engine. year 1965 Type 901/03 2 ltr 6 135 hp Long block only, nocarbs, flywheel, tin or fan/altinator. It bolts right up to your 901 transmission. It has 25 more hp than a standard 914-6 which porsche says will do 125 mph. 1000US$ #5/ 1969 911T / Betw. 110HP & 155HP / CARBS > 2.0L 1969, bored to 2.5 with 2.7 p/c’s > MIleage unknow > No carbs > No flywheel > Exhaust 1000$ #6 / 2.4T 1972 / 140HP / MFI / > Tensionners rebuilt > MFI Included > Exhaust/heatx exxhangrs included > Clutch > Flywheel > Thrwo out bearing 2000CAN$ #7 / 125HB / CARBS / 2000US$ >2.2T Motor with a New Top end Rebuild with Carera Tensioners (rebuilt zeniths) >The motor is a complete running motor,, it has headers, no muffler.. it has been ran for the required break in period and thats it.. 0 miles on it.. They put in new timing chains, new ramps, upgraded the tensioners, rings, new chain covers, new plug wires and plugs, fly wheel, zenith carbs that were completely rebuilt. the fuel pump is in the gas tank and I wouldnt use that on a new motor so i bought an aftermaket pump and a fuel cell, you could have the fuel pump if you want it. I had them scope the bottom end and it was in perfect condition. I had all this work done on the motor before i got into the body work, big mistake, the body was in bad shape,, so im parting it out.. this motor is done and done right! 2000US$ Thanks to all! |
