Quick horn button install question.
 

On the left is the orginal MOMO horn button I am removing and on the right a Porsche horn button I would like to install.
The MOMO button has two tabs and the Porsche has one. Do I need to remove that tab and put it on the Porsche button? There was the black wire from the column attached to this connection.

I just changed my horn button last week and only have one wire to lead connection. Some aftermarket horn buttons I have looked at online have two wires leading from the button assembly, but I'm not certain what the second wire does (always wondered if it was ground, etc.) bottom line is if you have one wire coming through the hub at the steering column, and one lead on the back of the horn button, it should work fine.

Pretty sure the second one is a ground. So it doesn't need a ground connection?

I think you'll find it will need an earth connection. If you look at the small "arrow like" sign it it indicates earth. I replaced mine a while ago and had to have an earth connection for it to work.

Try it with just the one wire and see if it works. The other option is to disassemble the horn button assembly by removing the wire clip, seperating the center button section and spring from the surrounding 'housing', and simply switch the two logo/faceplate portions.

Can you clarify, on the momo you removed, how many wires were running from the column to the button? Did you use two wires with that one, or just one black wire? If just one, I recommend you try a single connection and see how it works.

The wire loop on the edge of the Porsche horn button should act as the ground when it contacts the steering wheel "hole". Pushing the horn button completes the circuit.
