Fog light / Washer bottle question.

Hello,
I'm trying to install a late model valance with inset fogs on a '77 911s. I've run into the issue of the inset fogs running out of clearance behind them(driver side) and running into the washer bottle.

I've looked into whether the bottle was changed during the years and it seems there was no change.

What am I missing?

Thanks for any help.

John

John,

The washer bottle was changed. You need one from an '84-'89 911.

This is the part number I found in the Pelican catalog (911.628.075.08)
It shows this part good for '74-89 911's.

Did they discontinue the old style and this is the overall replacement?

I will call Pelican and inquire, but I am wondering if anyone had any experience with this subject.

Thanks.
John

That would be my guess, as the later style will fit the earlier car.

The original part number for a '77 was 911.628.075.00.
