Post Hear........the Beast run,,,,,

Well, I haven't sent the video to get converted to an mpeg yet but I have updated my website with some wav files and pictures of the engine stand I am using. Check it out and let me know how they sound. I just used my laptop to record so I don't think the sound quality will be very good.

How can you stand it? I'd have to have it inside the engine compartment, right now.

Or maybe you should consider adapting a transaxle for that cart. You could at least take it around the block.

Yes, I can't wait to put it in. I still have to wire the engine bay, put seet belts in, wire the gauges and put the front oil cooler in.

The front oil cooler is the biggest job. I have to run the oil lines and do some work on the cooler. I am using an RX7 oil cooler.

Does anyone have any "hot ticket" for the oil lines? I don't have a good set of original ones so unless I find something else to do I will prabably use Aeroquip which is kinda spendy.

Oh ...... my ....... God !!!!

I like to think that right now, somewhere, Butzi Porsche is smiling, nodding his head, and tipping a nice, strong Bavarian brew back in enjoyment and admiration of your project. I only wish I had the time, patience, and of course, resources to take on such a project. Quite inspiring. As I tip my own beer to you - a Sam Adams for the moment - I'm imagining a world where all tired 911s are brought back to life to run again with their brothers. We'd all gather at the track, run a few laps, and hang out into the early morning hours telling stories of their early lives. Ahhhhh....

Hey Mark - I've seen several references to RX7 coolers being used. What year Mazda is used? Turbo or N/A model? I'm gonna be doing the same thing soon.
I finally got your sound track to download - MAN that sounds wicked!!!!!!
Do you HAVE to run mufflers? HA!

I believe its just a na one. It's a good size to mount in the front spoiler. You can find them very cheap at the bone yards. I'll post pics when I do it.
