1987 911 Cab / 315 x 35 x 17 Tire Choice?

I hate to beat this topic to death, but I am waiting to receive my Lindsey Fuch wheels back from Mike Lindsey, and Im wondering which 315 x 35 x 17 I should use. I know there are not a lot of choices, but I'm curious which tire would be best for street use. Some have said to go with the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KD, but I'm driving a Cab and I heard that the vibration and truck like ride will rattle my mirrors off. I want to go with the 315 so my choices are limited.

Here is a link from TireRack with choices.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.jsp?width=315%2F&ratio=35&diameter=17&startIndex=0&search=true&pagelen=20&pagenum=1&pagemark=1&performance=EP&performance=MP&performance=UHP&performance=HP&manufacturer=Avon&manufacturer=BFGoodrich&manufacturer=Bridgestone&manufacturer=Continental&manufacturer=Dunlop&manufacturer=Firestone&manufacturer=Fuzion&manufacturer=General&manufacturer=Goodyear&manufacturer=Hankook&manufacturer=Hoosier&manufacturer=Kumho&manufacturer=Michelin&manufacturer=Pirelli&manufacturer=Sumitomo&manufacturer=Toyo&manufacturer=Uniroyal&manufacturer=Yokohama&RunFlat=All&x=74&y=9

This may not be the area to ask this question, but I know many are knowledgeable here, and I thought I would give it a shot.

Thanks,

C.L.

Unfortunately, any tire in that aspect ratio will give a rough ride. If your looking for handling, I'd go for the Dunlops.

I went with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 for my Lindsey's. 315/35/17 No sound issues and love the look.

Jim... That is one the best looking set-ups I've seen. Your car [has a good looking stance.

Thanks for the suggestion...

Jim... What are you running (size) in the front?

I appreciate it...

The wheels up front are 17 x 9 with 255/40/17. Glad you like the look. I'm sure you'll love your wheels.

Jim,
any rubbing problem? Maybe closed, if not rubbing? I was an idiot. I use 255/45/17 up front. They rub all over in there.

you have turbo flares on your car? if not, i seriously doubt a 315 will fit in a carrera flare - the widest we got under a carrera flare (which included some mods such as moving oil lines, shaving adjuster fasteners, etc) was a 275 x 17

Fortunately I do have the turbo flares on my car. Hopefully there will be minimal modifications required.

Thanks...
