Cool Verify Oil Pressuer Gauge Operation..

Just want to verify that my oil pressure
gauge is working. With the ignition key
on if I disconnect the Oil Pressure wire
I jump to 5 Bar. If I ground that same wire
all the way to '0' This is how it should work?? Right....

Thumbs up

Yes, Joe, that is correct! If you want to verify that the gauge isn't sticky anywhere in the range, try substituting a 5K or 10K Ohm pot from Radio Shack ... ground one end of the pot and hook the center wiper to gauge lead in place of sender, and sweep the pot over the whole range.
