hershey swap meet
Can anyone tell me when the Hershey PA porsche swap meet is and how I might find out information regarding attendance?

Here is the Central's region website.www.centralpaporsche.org/. The meet is in the parking lot of Hersey Park, an amusement park close to Harrisburg. It is a great swap meet with tons of stuff. More Porsche's together then anywhere else.

The address worked fine for me.. it is schedule April 21 2001. If anyone is interested in going from NC/SC/Ga. we could caravan up. I'm thinking of (horror) leaving the Porsche at home, only so I can take a van for goodies!! So, if I could tag along with someone, at least I couldn't be sooo embarrased driving in..

i've ben to the swap meet twice and i can say that it is a LOT more fun when you bring your Porsche. you will find a lot fo stuff that you will immediately be able to verify whether it will match or fit your car. when we didn't bring the Porsche, we kept wondering if we should buy this-or-that but could not remember if we could need it, or if the part numbers matched.
either way, i'll be there in April. would not miss it for the world. get your hotel reservations EARLY! obin |

Don't forget the camera. Some really nice old Porsches there that you may want to photo for reference on your own project. That's what I did. I've been up there twice and it's really a great swap meet.
I remember reading that the meet is switching from the huge parking lot (due to construction) to a lot which is smaller. Oh well. |

Wasn't sure if I was going to this Swap Meet or not until I read the responses. Looking forward to seeing some beautiful Porsches and hopefully picking up a few parts as well.
I live in Boston and will be making the 6+ hour trek - looks like many others will be travelling from even greater distances. See you in Hershey!!!! |
