Have a good one, Mark. I hope the city writes you a nice Escort-reimbursement check to mark the occasion -- with "For Great Justice!" in the memo field, hopefully.

Hah! You guys caught me completely off guard. Thanks!

For my b-day, I got new reinforced swaybar mounts put on (both sides). I'm no welder and I didn't want to trust my safety to my ineptitude, so I paid a couple hundred bucks for the parts and labor. Oh well.

I also got some new parts - a heater blower motor (yes, the expensive one ) and some new front bumper bellows. I'll put those on next weekend. Bled the brakes too - they feel about the same. OK, maybe a little firmer. Maybe I'll upgrade to the stainless steel lines for that rock-solid feel.

Oh, and I got a new refrigerator. :\ RIP my Harvest Gold Whirlpool from the 1970s. I got a nice Frigidaire, in black, to match the Porsche.

So I'm ready to race, which was really my gift to myself. I'm attending a Driver's Ed (not really a race) at Mid-Ohio the 21st and 22nd of this month. Should be a blast.

And if anyone runs across a pair of full-polished 8x16 Fuchs, let me know. I have a set of 6x16/7x16s, and I'd rather be running 8s in the rear.

Yay! I'm 33! I made a third of a century! Thanks everyone!
