screws
rocker trim screws, that is...
For my '73, PET shows two types used. One is a B 3.9 x 13 tapping screw. I'm curious what the 3.9 means, and what the B means. The other type is odder. It is a B 3.9 x 13 "h. tap. screw" I'm curious what the "h." means - I think this screw might have a different head shape - maybe oval, maybe recessed, or maybe raised... Anybody know about German screwing? (so to speak) |

There are no metric sheet metal screws. That is, they use ours and convert the number from inches to metric. Divide the 3.9 by 25.4 and you'll get the inch size. So a 3.9 is a 3/16ths diameter. 13 is the length, half an inch.
Can't remember about the B or the h. JR |
