Fuchs finish repair ideas

Detailer sprayed tires and Fuchs with 'Tire Dressing'. Clear, glossy sticky stuff.

Washed it off, but now the Fuchs rims (clear rims w/ black painted centers) have sort of waterspot looking areas on them that won't rub off. Painted black centers are OK.

I don't know if they are clear-coated or not. They are not highly polished like chrome, just a natural finish.

Think something like aluminum polish would help? Any ideas other than full-bore polishing?

Thanks in advance.

Try rubbing some vaseline on the anodized part, as the owner's manual suggests. Takes water spots right out.
