Warning lights
Recently, on my 1985 911 Targa, I got two warning lights at the same time. One was the brake light, one was the oil light. Both illuminated at the same time. If I rev the engine, the lights clear. At idle, the lights remain on. The drivers manual says brake pads for the brake light, oil levelTemp for the oil light. Just completed oil change, oil level is fine, brake fluid is full, brake pads and brake travel is normal. I have never seen both lights come on at the same time. Any ideas?

Are any other lights dimming at idle (dash lights, headlights, etc.)?

Disconnect one of the circuits at its' sender and see what happens to the remaining light...that's a start. Then re-connect/disconnect the other light.
